Step 1: What is IBQH?
The International Board for Quality in Healthcare IBQH is a professional certification testing basic quality knowledge in healthcare and providing the basic knowledge and skills of quality. It is designed to assist healthcare professionals to improve quality in healthcare services. IBQH as well provides terms for recertification which is necessary for updating and ensuring that quality of healthcare services delivered to the patients is Up to date.
IBQH is directed to ensure that every health care employee is capable of delivering health care services of higher quality by providing the needed basic knowledge of quality.
Step 2: Preparation
Successful passing of IBQH examination requires good understanding of study materials; hence, it is highly recommended to attend the IBQH preparation courses conducted by team of experts of ASQH in different countries (currently in Egypt, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates). The course will include lectures that cover all parts of the examination in addition to training on case scenarios and real exam questions.

Step 3: Registration
IBQH program targets all employees of all educational levels working in the field of Healthcare. It aims to provide the basic knowledge and skills of quality and examining participants required for their certification.
Step 1: Create a web account
Before you can schedule your certification or licensure test appointment online, you must first create a web account with Pearson VUE for the testing program that sponsors the test you wish to take...
Step 4: Examination
Prior to examination day, you will receive a confirmation email of exam appointments; we ask that you arrive at the test centre 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. This will give you adequate time to complete the necessary sign-in procedures.
You will be required to present your passport or other photographic evidence at reception. Failure to do so may result in your being denied entry to the examination (if you do not have a passport, a driving licence or other national identity card with your photograph and signature will be acceptable as proof of identity).
Step 5: Exam Result
Once you successfully complete the IBQH examination and announced “pass”, IBQH will issue your success certificate and a score report and mail it to you within 1 month from the end of the month of your test. e.g.: I have finished my test in July 17th 2010, so my success certificate should be mailed to me within August 2010.
The mail package that will be sent to you by IBQH will also contain IBQH identification card and an IBQH pin and you will be entitled to use the suffix IBQH after your name on all forms of correspondences; e.g.: Dr. (your name) MD, IBQH.
